Position Description

Associate Director, Clinical Operations – Las Vegas (relocation available)

$90,00 – $110,000 salary

We are seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Operations for our Contract Research Organization client that offers study services to the pharmaceutical industry.

The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a 24 hour/day, seven day a week, Phase I Clinical Trials facility.

Responsibilities:
• Provide direction and leadership to the Clinic Operations Management team.
• Serve as a mentor to each of the managers. Encourages managers to train and develop their staff. This will be accomplished through adequate and documented training, proper follow through on performance issues and providing additional support as required.
• Work with managers to ensure adequate staff levels are maintained to meet company goals.
• Review budgetary requirements and control operational costs with each department manager and holds them accountable to budgetary requirements (e.g., overtime, supply costs).
• Conduct regular audits of each department to ensure company’s SOP’s, protocols and other regulatory requirements are being met.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific/medical background
• 7-10 years managerial experience in an operations based environment. Must have a proven track record of success providing leadership to a management team.
• Strongly prefer experience in a clinical setting.
• Available to support a 24/7 Operation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications

Salary:

$90,00 – $110,000 salary, comprehensive benefits including 401k, medical, dental, vision, paid vacation/ holidays and tuition reimbursement & relocation assistance
